mile high flight program

Provide education, exposure and experiences for students from junior and senior high schools, to the aviation and aerospace industries, through an extensive series of career oriented, “hands-on” field trips (“PHASE 1”)
 

Teach a selected number of students each year how to actually fly!  Training includes all necessary flight instruction, with a certified flight instructor, to culminate in the student’s first solo (“PHASE 2”)
 

Increase minority representation in aviation / aerospace / STEM career fields 
 

Encourage a greater interest in technical studies 
 

 Provide short and long term mentoring opportunities with professionals in the aviation industries 
 

Inspire youth to be successful in whatever field they choose to pursue
